Work has Started on the New Drain Field!

We have received the plans from the health department!! On Wednesday equipment was brought in and the digging has begun.  Friday, May 9th we are looking for volunteers to come help dig and drill holes.  If you are available to help please call the office for more information at 616.984.2125.  This is an urgent need as we have to have this completed before summer camp starts!

We need your help!  Work will continue next week and volunteers will be greatly appreciated as it will help keep the final cost down.  We will need hand laborers to work with Marsman Constuction during the project to help drill holes in the drain pipes, install pipes,  final leveling, adding fertilizer, grass seed and mulch. If you are available to help please call the office at 616-984-2125.

Annual Golf Drive

Cost: $75 per person (tax deductible)

There is still time to register!  This year’s golf drive will be held at The Links of Bowen Lake. Registration is from 7:00 am - 7:30 am at Lincoln Lake Baptist Camp, with a shotgun tee time beginning at 8:00 am. The style of play will be a four man scramble. An awards luncheon will follow at 12:30 pm.  You will not want to miss your chance at winning $10,000 for a hole in one!!! To register your team, e-mail us at office@lincolnlake.com.

Mr. Albert Siegel, age 92, walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2008 and was welcomed with great rejoicing.  Albert spent many years faithfully serving as the superintendent of Lincoln Lake Baptist Youth Camp and had a passion for sharing his faith in Jesus Christ with all he knew.  The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 15, at 2pm at Alpine Baptist Church.

Friends and Family Banquet


Our annual Family & Friends Banquet was a wonderful evening of fellowship, laughter, great food, and sharing the ministry of Lincoln Lake Baptist Camp.

We are very thankful for those that attended and the many volunteers that helped make the evening great!

This years project is a new septic drain field.  The Kent County Health Department has given us until May 15, 2008 to have this completed or we will not be able to operate summer camp.  The total for the evening was $19,190.  The total cost being $25,000.  We are well on our way to our goal.  Please pray with us that this urgent need would be met.

Renovation Race: Gideon's Army

Just like Gideon who looked for 300 committed soldiers, we are looking for 300 people to each raise $1,000 in pledges by August 23, 2008.  By having an army this large, we will be able to conquer all of the investment needed for Phase One.  Will YOU help us fight this battle for the children, teens, and adults that can be reached in this ministry?? 

Formerly known as the September Pedal, the Renovation Race has grown into something much bigger and better! We now offer a one mile family hike, 5k run, 13k run, and a bike ride that is an 8 mile loop around Lincoln Lake.

All of our expansion and development is made possible by the generous gifts of people like you who recognize and understand the value of LLBC in the lives of its campers.  The money raised from this event will be used to finish Phase One of our Master Plan.

• Purchase of Property along 18 Mile Ave and Lincoln Lake Ave
• ReVamping of our Current Swim Area
