Heat for Yurts Finished!

Dave Moody and Geoff Saturley worked long and hard to complete this project before January 18, 2008.  Our junior campers enjoyed their first stay in the newly heated Yurts.  We are praising God for what great things He has done.  This project almost doubles our current winter housing options.

Can you help us?? If so, please contact the camp!! We are looking for donations, supplies, and physical labor.

Our 500 acres of lake, newly designed beach front, four speed boats, pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats provide us with a number of water activities. Tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, swimming, and boating are among the favorite activities at LLBC! Our waterfront also includes the "Rock", the "Iceberg", a 25' Water Trampoline and "Walk the Plank" inflatables.

Yurt Cabins

Each Yurt is capable of housing twenty campers. A Yurt is a round tent-like structure built on a platform to allow maximum airflow during the summer months. They are not only capable of holding campers in the summer, but they are also designed to be used in the winter months as well.

The staff has chosen names for them, Sunrise, High Noon and Sunset. If you have not been to Lincoln Lake recently be sure to stop by and see them. We would be more than happy to give you a tour! The campers are always excited at registration when they find out they get to live in a Yurt for a week.

Potential to Purchase More Property

PondOur desire is to purchase eleven acres of land on the corner of 18 Mile and Lincoln Lake Avenue. This property is adjacent to what we currently own and is part of our Master Plan recommendations.  It is still available and the owner is willing to negotiate with us. Pray that God will supply the needed finances to purchase this piece of property.
